Environmental Systems Corporation (ESC) is releasing a new version of the ESC|StackVision at the end of January, 2010. This version, StackVision 3.0, obsoletes E-DAS API access. The main purpose of this patch release is to allow PI ODBC to use PI trusts. This makes PI ODBC compatible with PI Server 3.4.380, in which explicit login can be disabled. An issue has been discovered with the install process of the DeltaV Smart Connector version 1.0.2.67. If DeltaV Smart Connector version 1.0.2.67 is installed on a clean machine (a machine with no previous installation of the DeltaV Smart Connector) the DeltaV Asset Connector *.bat files (OPCInt_SCx.bat) will not be configured correctly.
